The Weatherford Area Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to be a leader in the orderly growth and development of Weatherford, create economic opportunities, and enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Weatherford.

The chamber supports our members directly by referring business to the them, providing training seminars, coordinating group marketing efforts, and providing assistance when challenged with local, state, or national government issues. The chamber also publishes a newsletter and calendar to keep members informed about local events.

The chamber supports members indirectly and helps Weatherford grow by marketing the area’s business, recreational, historical, educational, and cultural facilities on state, national, and international levels.

The Weatherford Chamber of Commerce coordinates 12 committees that work on a variety of issues and special events to improve the quality of life in the community and to increase the amount of tourism income in our economy. These events include the Southwest Festival of the Arts, College Rodeo, High School and Junior Rodeos, Oil & Gas Golf Tournament, Health Fair, Heartland Cruise Car Show, Chili Bowl, Community Ag Show, Weatherford Horse Show, and numerous Retail Promotions.
