select from twelve city parks that contain 652 acres and numerous picnics and play areas.
The city employs a full-time Parks and Recreation Director who administers year-round
activities.

Park East (260 acres) in northeast Weatherford. Facilities and activities include:

Completed August 1997 for Weatherfords 100th Birthday in 1998. Paved with centennial
bricks donated by city residents, companies an organizations. Gazebo, fountain,
landscaping, time capsule welcome visitors to this historic site of Weatherfords
